What is an Enrolled Agent? An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a tax professional who has earned the right to practice before the Internal Revenue Service by passing a comprehensive three-part examination. EAs hold unlimited representation rights, meaning we can represent you in audits, appeals, and collections - the same rights as CPAs and attorneys for tax matters. Combined with our BBB A+ accreditation, that is third-party validation you will not find with most independent tax preparers.

We review your situation and send a clear scope and flat-fee estimate, usually within one to two business days. We are a small practice: replies are personal, not instant.

When you accept, we email an invitation to our secure Client Portal (TaxDome). Create your account and upload your documents there - never by email.

We Prepare & File
We prepare, review, and file. You see status updates in the portal and approve everything before it is submitted.

Small on purpose
Arc & Ledger is a deliberately small practice. We keep the client roster short so every engagement gets unhurried, senior-level attention. No junior staffer learns on your file: the Enrolled Agent whose name is on the engagement is the one doing the work.

Careful beats fast
We are not the fastest preparer you can hire, and we do not try to be. Every return is checked, then checked again, before anything is filed, and the timeline we quote already includes that second look. If a deadline is genuinely too tight to do the work properly, we will say so and, when it makes sense, file an extension first. An accurate return beats a rushed one.
